How Can We Help?
What we do
Our Services
We design, build and support onsite and industrial wastewater treatment plants and water reuse systems for hotels and lodges, housing developments, mines, abattoirs, schools and clinics, shopping malls and commercial properties across South Africa and Southern Africa.
Hotels & Lodges Wastewater
• Collection of all black and grey water which is then biologically treated followed by mechanical filtration for re-use in cooling towers, irrigation and pools.
• Wastewater to Potable is very viable and offer huge savings for the hotel.
• Saving - up to 80% saving on the water utility bill.
Housing Developments wastewater
• Treat black and grey water to irrigation standard or to drinking standard more cost effective than what the Municipality can offer, saving money to the body corporate.
• Saving - up to 80% saving on the water utility bill.
Mine Wastewater
• Treat all sewage and process effluent to process or potable water • Depending on the mine, process plant effluent can be treated and recycled for re-use. • Reduction in overall water requirement in terms of water balance, as less water needs to be procured.
Abattoir Wastewater
• All effluent from the abattoir is collected, biologically treated followed by mechanical filtration, and is then re-used for washing and cleaning purposes, the water is treated to potable standards (drinking Quality).
Schools And Clinics wastewater
• Treat black and grey water to re-use for toilet flushing and irrigation, effluent can also be cleaned to drinking water standard.
Industrial Wastewater
• Depending on the industry the effluent can be treated for re-use to either industrial process water or potable water, this offers a cost-effective solution. • ROI is normally within 2-3 years.
Shopping Mall Wastewater
• Malls wastewater effluent can be collected and re-used for potable or washing purposes. Offering monthly savings to the owners.
• Reduced monthly tariffs as onsite treatment are more cost-effective than procuring water and sewage from the municipality.
Commercial Properties Wastewater
• Commercial wastewater effluent can be collected and re-used for toilet flushing, fire water, cooling towers and irrigation, offering monthly savings to the owners.
• Saving and ROI can be guaranteed over periods less than 2 years.
Who we are
About Us
Wastewater treatment is the treatment of wastewater from various sources such as toilets, showers, basins, canteens, laundry and some industrial processes
The treatment is biological, using bacteria and enzymes that digests all biological and/or organic contaminants, providing contamination-free water that can be re-used for toilet flushing, fire water, cooling towers or other non-potable uses.
The final treated water can be further treated through mechanical treatment to provide potable water.
Onsite wastewater treatment and re-use entails installing or upgrading water treatment technologies to treat water for direct or indirect water re-use. This enables the client to recycle all the water based waste streams emanating from their respective operations, and re-use it either for drinking water, process water, irrigation or any quality that the client may require.
The specific treatment processes vary from client to client based on the wastewater chemical & biological composition as well as the specific processes and water quality required.
What we install
Product Offering
- Steel tank type - Waste Water Treatment
- Containerized Wastewater Treatment
- Civil Constructed Wastewater Treatment Plant
The steel tank type wastewater treatment plant makes use of the economy of scale to ensure the most cost-effective treatment plant based on rand per liter treated. The anaerobic, aerobic and clarification is done in Steel Tanks and the disinfection and control room is built into a shipping container.
Product Overview
- Standard Flow Range of 50Kl to 30Ml per day
- Up to 20 Years guarantee on tanks.
- Plants are gravity fed to the screen or sump and from there effluent is pumped to the system.
- Small footprint
- Rapid installation time
- All mechanical equipment installed within the container control room compartment.
Advantages
- Very economical on large flow applications
- Effortless expansion can be done due to the plant being installed above ground.
- Safe and secure.
- Provision for easy plant expansion through simple modular construction.
The containerized wastewater treatment plants are specifically designed for ease of transport, security and modularity, taking into consideration that the plant may be moved to various locations. The complete WWTP is built into the ISO High Cube Containers. The plants are complete “plug and play” and are very cost-effective in terms of transportation
Product Overview
- Standard Flow Range of 5 Kl to 500 Kl per day
- Completely containerized and self-contained.
- Plants are gravity fed to the screen or sump and from there effluent is pumped to the system.
- Minimal civil work is required, only a concrete slab is required for the plant to stand on.
- All mechanical equipment installed within the container control room compartment.
Advantages of the Containerized Plant
- Effortless expansion can be done due to the plant being installed above ground.
- Safe and secure.
- Provision for easy plant expansion through simple modular construction.
- Most cost effective system for transportation.
- Once off capital cost to client as it can easily be moved to various sites.
- Reduced installation cost, due to ease of installation.
The civil constructed plants are designed and constructed mostly for large flow industrial and housing development applications. The plants are aesthetically pleasing as they are constructed underground and can be covered with vegetation. The plants are entirely civil designed and constructed to exact civil engineering requirements.
Product Overview
- Standard Flow Range of 50 Kl to 20Ml per day
- Completely civil constructed system.
- Dependent on contours and invert plant can either be constructed below or above ground.
- Plants are mostly gravity fed, depending on invert levels and contour levels.
- The plant incorporates all phases of the treatment process.
- All mechanical equipment installed within a brick constructed control room.
Advantages of the Civil Constructed Plant
- Civil construction can be subcontracted to local contractors to reduce construction cost.
- Provision for easy plant expansion through simple modular and common wall construction.
- System can operate without electricity for 48 hours (dependent on whether plant is gravity fed).
- Effective alternative where no municipal connection is available.
